Junior High School
About the Program
TUA Junior High School envisions its students to be disciplined and active learners responsive to future challenges where they can analyze, participate, and solve problems on their own. Moreover, Junior High School program is a four-year program which aims to prepare students for their future roles in life.
Specifically, it aims to 1) prepare the students for Senior High School, college, and higher educational pursuits; 2) equip the students with knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for productive work and gainful employment; 3) provide opportunities for developing special talents and interests that would enrich lives; 4) awaken in the students their sensitivity for the needs and feelings of others so that they will be of service to the less fortunate and the needy; and 5) prepare the students to take their place in society as citizens dedicated to the Christian way of life and service.
Project-Based Learning
On its third year, TUA Junior High School is using Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach for holistic and active teaching-learning process. This pedagogy triggers not only the 21st century learning skills but also literacy skills and life skills. Project Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge. Co-Curricular Clubs

Ang Kulturang Pinoy Club ay isang pampaaralang samahan ng mga mag-aaral sa Trinity High School na may mithiing maging tulay at gabay ng mga mag-aaral para sa pagtuklas at paglinang ng Pagkakakilanlang Pilipino at Paghubog ng kasanayang pangwika ng Pilipinas at pagpapahalaga sa kultura at kasaysayan nito. Bilang tulay, ang misyon ng Kulturang Pinoy Club ay pag-ibayuhin ang pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga mag-aaral na tuklasin ang kanilang maka-pilipinong pag-iisip at pagpapalaganap nang damdaming maka-Diyos, maka-tao, maka-kalikasan at maka-bansa.

The TUA- Science Club is a school-based organization composed of Junior High School students of Trinity High School that aims to promote students’ interest in Science, foster an inquiry-based and collaborative learning environment, develop service-oriented students through scientific activities, and generate interest in scientific research towards social transformation.

The Art Club is a school-based organization for practicing artists to home in on their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will add beauty and value to the school and community.

The TUA Glee Club is a school-based organization composed of junior high school students of Trinity High School which aims to promote students’ interest in various performing and creative arts such as singing without the formality of a traditional choir. Glee Club’s impact to the community consists of inspiring others to support everyone artistically and to develop their own sense of self-worth.

The B.R.E.W. club is a school-based organization consisting of junior high school students of Trinity University of Asia that aims to encourage its members to be a beacon of hope, renewed in spirit, to encounter Christ, and be a witness of the gospel by providing activities that hone the student’s knowledge of the Bible and various social issues that are relevant to the society.

The Sports Club as an extension of the Basic Education Physical Education program is an organized group composed of different sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Dodge Ball, Badminton, and Table Tennis, fitness workouts, and other online games that help the students harness their special skills in different areas in sports, fitness, and recreation in this time of the pandemic.

The TUA Hydroponics Club is a co-curricular organization formed to manage the art and science of growing plants on soilless systems such as hydroponics and aquaponics. It also formed to improve students’ social responsibility and innovative skills in agriculture. The organization aims to further develop and improve the knowledge and skills of students who are inclined to Science, Mathematics, and Agriculture. Moreover, this organization brings into the limelight of the current trends in vertical farming, self-watering plants, and different hydroponics systems. With the enthusiastic desire to make Math and Science more interesting and fun, and significant in a learner’s life, the organization develops activities that will cater the students to understand the relationship among Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The Data – Analytics Club is a co-curricular organization formed to strengthen the conceptual framework twin goals of the K to 10 Mathematics Curriculum. Those are critical thinking and problem solving. The organization also aims to further develop and improve the knowledge and skills of students who are inclined to Mathematics and explore deeper understanding of the scientific world throughout the university and local community. It also aims to develop life-long creative problem solvers in life.

The Japanese Culture Club also known as “JCC” is a co-curricular organization at Trinity University of Asia- High School dedicated to the notion of fellowship among students who wish to learn and study Japanese culture and tradition. TUA-HS JCC declares that all are welcome and seen equal before the club’s populous, and the club’s members will adhere to the constitution set before us, so that we may always come together in fellowship, and pursue our fellow interests in peace and harmony. The organization aims to promote interest, understanding, and knowledge of Japanese culture, foster the type of honest skepticism that is necessary for lifelong learning, create a wholesome social and enjoyable atmosphere for the students. Moreover, to coordinate with all existing organizations of the Student Development Council of the High School Department with regard to their different projects and other activities.
